Our INTROs class is where the children enjoy stepping into musical theatre .
They learn how to sing , how to do short dance routines and interact with each other whilst playing drama games . With the added bonus of the chance to perform in front of an audience too!
Most of all , they have loads of fun and make new friends !
Once the children have graduated into our main school, the youngest class being the Juniors. They will start to learn more complex routines, work with us as a group, as well as receive some 1:1 training at times . They will learn the importance of team work, interaction and how to support each other throughout the sessions .
As well as this, they will be given the opportunity to audition for our shows if they wish to have a solo part.
The intermediates class is a stepping stone towards the seniors as they leave the juniors class. In the intermediates class we concentrate on working with the children to promote their confidence and encourage them where possible to work with the seniors and learn from them. They will have slightly more complex routines but now they will start to work on their own as well as within their team We will look at monologues, script work and more solo singing as well as chorus numbers.
As seniors they will now have gained major amounts of confidence and self esteem in their performance as well as in themselves.
We encourage all students to jump out of their comfort zone as much as possible and push themselves as far as they feel comfortable.
We use a variety of techniques including improvisation, monologues and interview examples.
They act as positive role models and mentors to the other students and some even like to choreo and teach their own routines to the younger classes.
