I have been performing since I was young. I am a classically trained soprano, with experience of singing in many venues and theatres in the North East. I have past experience in both television and film, and have recently stepped back into the performing industry on stage at The Tyne Theatre in Annie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and most recently taking on the principal role of Mrs Otter in the Wind in The Willows. I took a step back in recent years but have always had a dream of running my own theatre school, and so TIME Theatre was born. Over the years I have worked in various schools across Gateshead, providing educational support for children. I specialise in Behaviour Management as well as having vast experience working with children with autism. As part of my lessons I have taught role play and music to give the children a chance to express themselves. "Performing is a great way of promoting self confidence and self esteem. You can get lost in a role - it makes you feel good and takes you somewhere else for a while . There really is no feeling like it! " At TIME Theatre, we provide young people with a platform to be who they want to be! Each week we provide dance, drama and music/singing tuition over a 2 hour period. This takes place every Saturday morning term time. Myself and the team work with all students to provide the skills and guidance needed to enhance their performance ability, whilst also giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent. Both in class as well as on stage.
I’m a Drama (Applied Theatre) graduate from Northumbria University, I’ve been able to play some fantastic roles in amateur musical theatre shows and also I’ve been doing a lot of extras work on TV shows like Vera and the Dumping Ground. Previous credits include: Ratty in Wind in the Willows (2019), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (2019), Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie (2019), George Seurat in Sunday in the Park with George (2018), Boland in Dogfight (2017), Baker in Into the Woods (2017), Jean Valjean in Les Miserables (2017), Link Larkin in Hairspray (2016), Danny Zuko in Grease (2015) I joined TIME back in June 2019 and I’ve never looked back since. My favourite thing about teaching Drama at TIME is the chance to see the children develop, not only as an actor/performer, but as people and seeing their confidence and different personal skills improve.
I fell in love with dancing at the age of 12. Since then i have trained in various styles, including, Breakdance, Street Dance, Contemporary, Jazz and Commercial. As well as teaching i love to perform and have performed and competed across the UK in venues such as the O2 in London. I really enjoy being part of the TIME team, working with passionate children encouraging them to be the best that they can be.

I can’t wait to see what the future brings 🌟
My full time job is an Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner at Spire Washington hospital, so I volunteer my time as and when I am able to. I've always had a love for musical theatre from being a child and have performed in a few musicals during my teens like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia and Grease. Further, I've had the pleasure of performing at the Tyne Theatre in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and more recently, Wind in the Willows as the pesky Lesser Weasel. I joined the Time Theatre team back in September 2018 and the staff are so passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to musical theatre and their passion shows through the students that attend. From Musicals to Disney themed performances to Charity events, Time have put on a variety of productions to showcase the amazing talent that the students have to offer and I feel honoured to help out and be a part of something magical.
